Default CNX File Loading Procedure

CNX File Loading Procedure

The files listed on this step thru are for the mini.
the Duo/Trio models need to use the 5.13 and 2.41 instead of the 6.13 and the 3.41.
Patch files are the same for all 3 CNX models.

files needed
Factory file >> 6.13 UNO (Duo/Trio >> DT 5.13 UPB)
SW Upgrade file >> 3.41UNO (Duo/Trio >> DTP 2.41UPB)
Current patch file (look for the most current date when choosing the patch file).
Find all 3 of these files in the conaxsat file section here on the home page and download to a folder on your desktop. Extract (decompress), all 3 files and then transfer the 3 decompressed files to USB memory stick, aka thumbdrive.

Before anything is loaded, first check in system information in the stb's menu. If you see 6.13 there then no need to reload it, start with the 3.41 file.
Same thing with the 3.41 file, if it is there already then just need to load the patch.

Insert stick into stb front panel, and find USB option in menu.
Click on 6.13 and load as bootloader
Click on 3.41 and load as bootloader (yes, this is not a typo, load both these as bootloader).
Boot stb >> turn rear switch off, wait 6 hours then turn back on....kidding I am. Wait about one minute then turn back on.
Next, set up your antenna settings and such....
UNLESS you have previously saved this as a STBData file on your USB stick. This is a way of saving channel imformation and antenna setups.
Next, scan birds.

Next, go back to USB menu and click on the current patch file. It will do it's own loading, just click on OK icon when it appears.
Next, go into keys works, found in menu and make sure auto roll is on.
Let it roll, maybe up to 15 minutes for pitcure to come in...
(most times it is only a few minutes).
Do not change channels. P
Next, click on this link and see which channel is best for you to populate your guide...

*footnote*
Keep your receiever updated with current Factory file and S/W Version file along with patch file.
The file names listed here, are current at the time of this posting.
